Riddle Cards

When my granddaughter was 7 and lived in another city, I began sending her hand-drawn postcards with a riddle. For five years she inspired me to be funny with the riddles & cartoons I drew. She's almost grown now and laughs freely all on her own. Here are a few of my favorite riddle postcards:

POULTRY PUN

Hen humor? A poultry pun? Perhaps Fowlarity fun?

SNOW

Joy, quiet and the smell of black-pepper come to my senses when I think of snow.

COME-ON…TOO EASY

The...leader, chief, principal, commander, captain, president, queen, king, chair?

FOR ABBEY & BOO

In memory of a kitty-cat named Boo, a long-time best friend of my daughter, Abbey Kayl-Young...

C-LIFE

An octopus is out-maneuver by a little-fish!

T-PARTY!

Tea for two or more is never too much...

A LEAP OF THOUGHT

Even trickier than words, is the understanding of the meaning of words...

ZANEY ZOMBIE

Does a zombie have the answer - after all he's dead?  Bwahahahhahah

SHEEP!

This riddle came from a fellow my husband Don Young knows, Alan Septoff of Earthworks

BIRD LOGIC

Pratical questions deserve sensible answers.

Halloween!

It's the Most-Wonderful time of the Year.....
